He is soooooo much better this month. I FINALLY talked with the dr and we upped his meds (I mentioned in an earlier post). He has been a MUCH happier baby since. He still spits up like crazy (Caylee did too), but he's a happy spitter. I like happy spitters. You really do have to be careful though because 2 hours will go by and he'll suddenly spit again... it's ridiculous.
He's wearing all 3 month clothes... some even 3-6. He's a skinny boy, definitely doesn't have the chubby legs or arms like Caylee did (does!), but he's long. Everyone says he looks just like Matt. I'd agree. He's like a mini version of Matt!!! (Looks nothing like Matt's baby pics, but exactly like him right now).
Micah is eating a TON (still)... about 30 oz a day, with cereal in the bottle. However, during the day he'll go 3 1/2- 4 hrs between a feeding. At night he was waking up 2 times between 7:30pm and 7:30am... however, this week (ALL WEEK!) he's only been waking one time... it's amazing! I hope he keeps this up.
He loves to smile and coo when I talk to him or when Caylee pays attention to him. He is really interested in her... not interested in the dogs at all, which was all Caylee was interested in. Micah has rolled over several times from belly to back... I don't think he knows what he's doing yet, but he is quite the mover, he'll make circles on his playmat and that's when he occasionally flips himself.
He is getting easier to figure out and still likes to be held close if it's around a nap time and I can't get him to his bed. He is napping at least 1 time for 2-3 hrs in his crib and then usually 2 other times either in my arms or in his bouncy seat. He definitely prefers the bouncy seat over the swing.
He's sitting up in the bumbo seat for short periods and holds his head really well. My goal is to get him to sit on his own as early as Caylee did- I think it really helped with the spitting up.
We love Micah and he's getting to such a fun stage (I'm not a huge fan of the first 2 months), month 3 has definitely been better! :) Can't wait to see this little man grow! Love him!
