People that wear crocs with sock... you know, like Mario Battalli (the chef). Terrible taste in style.
And yet.... Micah wears crocs with socks. Why? Because we went to buy him some shoes and he curls his toes. Not just a little, a LOT. It's not just hard to put tennis shoes on his feet, it's IMPOSSIBLE! Seriously... Matt tried, I tried... nothing. So... we found cheap brand crocs (with a back buckle thing) that we can slide his feet into. The purpose is to get him used to shoes so that when winter hits we may be able to put actual shoes on him. Crocs won't keep his feet warm or protected at all.
Sunrises.... so beautiful... however, I'm not always in the mood to see them. Lately, Micah has been up a lot at night. He just can't seem to sleep more than a few hours at time. I don't think it's the reflux this time because he wakes up chatting happily... only after about 10-15 min of chatting does it turn to crying, he just can't put himself back to sleep (at least not fast enough to not wake Caylee up). So this morning, since we were all up SUPER early... I took the kids outside to see the sunrise. It was GORGEOUS (and cold!). It's so funny how the cloud cover really makes it that much prettier, but then once the sun is up, the cloud cover leaves everything dark and gray. A good reminder that there is good behind the bad I guess.
You can never have too many pics of them together... just to pull out on days they may fight later and remember how much they love each other and how much fun they have together :)
Micah was able to go down his first slide today... with Caylee's help of course! I think he liked it though...
